FAQ

  • The Female Founder School is a comprehensive year-long program designed to support women entrepreneurs at various stages of their business journeys. Through curated workshops, mentorship, community-building, and wellness activities, we empower female founders to build and scale their businesses.

  • The program is open to:

    • Women entrepreneurs aged 18 or older.

    • Founders who have started to build or are ready to launch their MVP (Minimum Viable Product).

    • Pre-revenue companies, as well as those planning to take a tech-enabled business to market.

    • Michigan-based founders who can attend in-person programming at our HQ on Michigan Central Campus @ Newlab. 

  • Members of the Female Founder School gain access to:

    • A vetted community of fellow founders at Michigan Central’s campus.

    • Monthly workshops and exclusive mentorship and coaching.

    • Access to our digital community platform.

    • Monthly coworking days and wellness workshops.

    • Discounts to signature events and the Femology HQ office at Newlab.

  • Our programming is designed to support your personal and business growth. The membership offers a dynamic blend of high-impact business workshops, wellness sessions, and personalized support to help women entrepreneurs scale their ventures.

  • Within each quarter, programming will include a wide array of Business Workshops, Wellness Workshops, Squad Mentorship Sessions (Q + A), Trainings, Coworking Sessions, 1:1 Advising, and more!

  • Start Pathway: $199/month
    Scale Pathway: $299/month

  • The Female Founder School includes monthly workshops, coworking days, and additional activities that require active participation. We recommend dedicating a few hours each month to engage fully with the programming. The overall program is 12 months long.

  • All in-person workshops and coworking days are held at Michigan Central’s campus, with some activities taking place at Femology HQ, located within Newlab.

  • While in-person attendance is highly encouraged for workshops and events, certain aspects of the program, including the digital community platform and online mentorship, are accessible remotely.

  • Applications can be submitted directly through our website. We evaluate each applicant based on their business idea, readiness to launch, and alignment with the values of the Female Founder School.

  • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, but we recommend applying early as spots are limited.

  • The program is open to women founders across a variety of industries, with a particular focus on tech-enabled businesses. Whether you’re pre-revenue or looking to scale, we provide the tools and support necessary for growth.

  • Besides business-related workshops, we provide personalized wellness workshops, private studio sessions, global speaker series, and 1:1 advising to ensure a holistic approach to your growth as a founder.

  • By the end of the program, you will be equipped with tools to develop scalable business models, master leadership, and navigate fundraising avenues like venture capital and crowdfunding. You will have built a global network of founders, mentors, and advisors, gain deep market insights, and create award-winning pitch decks. 

    Graduates of the Female Founder School join a lifelong community of alumni, with continued access to resources, exclusive events, and networking opportunities to support long-term success.
